South Dakota

Today we spent sometime detouring off the highway a bit and did some tourist stuff. The main feature being hitting up the Mounuments of Mount Rushmore. A lot has changed since we were here last. It is much more modern with a long corridor of when the states were incorporated leading up to the same four faces that we remember. Everett seemed to enjoy the walk around and the highlight of the gift shop is when of all things we found a small swiss army knife key chain with Everett engraved on one side and Mount Rushmore on the other. We have never seen his name on anything and who'd have thought that the first time would be on a knife. We did a lot of driving today as well and should get to Minnesota tomorrow. Dylan and Everett went for a swim when we got checked into the hotel, their first swim of the trip but i'm sure it wont be their last, it's past their bedtime now so its off to bed till tomorrow's entry.
